I am a certified Relationship and Creativity consultant. My passion is helping people to connect to the people and projects that they love.
I grew up in the theater. That might sound like an interesting place to begin as a consultant. However, so much of what I did in the theater was based on analyzing people and their motivations. Discovering what life events led people to make the decisions they made and how it impacted the relationships they currently have. I didn’t realize it at the time, however working in the theater was preparing me for my lifelong interest in philosophy, psychology and interpersonal relationships. It was also preparing me to interact with a wide variety of talented artists, musicians, writers and performers along the way.
The pandemic necessitated creating communities in diverse and unique ways. I became a cofacilitator for a Women’s Chat Group hosted through Ancient Blue Hills. Around the same time, I was voted to be the Head of the Grievance Committee for my local roller derby team for two consecutive years. Thankfully, there were not many concerns, but it was an honor to be acknowledged for my skills in conflict resolution.
I have since advanced my studies in psychology and relationship and creativity coaching to increase my experience and understanding of interpersonal relationships. I have studied and completed certification in the Strategies and Skills Learning and Development method developed by Professor Ka Tat Tsang at the University of Toronto. As a lifelong learner, I am constantly adding to my toolbox of exercises and techniques to best assist you.
My primary intention is to improve people’s lives. That may be through improving their relationships and helping them to communicate with their partners, families and friends. It may be through inspiring imagination and encouraging them to pursue their creative endeavors.
